We received "THE CALL" today!  We have been given OFFICIAL clearance from HQ to make preparations to LEAVE FOR THE FIELD! Woooooooo!  There are still a few "spoken" pledges where the pledge form has not arrived at HQ yet- but we are officially given clearance now!

There are so many people that are responsible for this miracle.  Many thanks to the friends, family, and pastors that became new support team members during these past 30 days.  It has been amazing.  Many moments we were just speechless....

We are still in the process of obtaining our residence Visas from the Spain Consulate- and are tied up right now with getting Macy  & Mia's background checks to come back from the FBI.  Please pray for this paperwork to proceed quickly and the roadblocks to be thrown aside!

Our expected departure date will depend much upon the timeframe it takes the Spain Consulate to issue our Visas.  Expected wait time could be 30-90 days!  Yikes!  We are hoping and praying that we can leave for the field within 7-8 weeks - putting us departing around late August.

We will keep this blog posted on our process - and how you can be praying for us.  We are anxious to get to work creating media to REACH people that need God's HOPE.

We will be traveling for the next several days in route to our "China Family" Reunion.  All 9 families that traveled and adopted together 4 years ago are re-uniting for the first time since we adopted our precious children from China.  Internet access and reception will be limited the next few days...but we will be sure and post a more comprehensive post next week about where we are at in the next step of this JOURNEY!!

Just Short

UPDATE:  We just received our update from HQ  - and we are officially at 98% of our pledge budget!  We ONLY need $160 more in monthly pledges to reach 100% and be given clearance to leave for the field!  PLEASE PLEASE continue to pray for us - that it will come in over the weekend!

TODAY is our deadline!   Yesterday and today several pastors, friends, and family have contacted us that they are sending in a pledge!  Yay!

After running our new totals -
We are now at 95% and only need 10 more monthly pledges before the end of the day TODAY!!

Prayer focus

Just wanted to say I know it may seem like all we ask for prayer about is raising our budget!  But we are at a crucial point where we can NOT move forward and begin the WORK of the mission - until the budget is raised! Once the budget is raised - we will move into prayer focus for the next stage in this journey!

9 Days until our Deadline!

Ahhhhh!  Are we feeling the crunch?  YES!!!!  We are "this" close!  We have already been given an extension from AG World Missions that gave us until June 30th to raise our budget!  Well....June 30th is now only 9 DAYS AWAY!!!!  In the past 29 days our pledges have only grown by 4%!  We are so thankful for that 4%!  For those new partners that have sent in their pledge forms!  And we have about 6 "spoken" pledges out there that have not sent their forms in yet.....  BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY WE ARE A LITTLE WORRIED!   We are hoping that everyone is just procrastinating thinking they have until the 30th to file their pledge...... but it's making us sit on pins and needles!!!!!   :)  

We have a landlord in place in Spain ready to rent us his recently vacated house - but we CAN not do ANY paperwork until our budget has reached 100%!  So PLEASE pray with us that the pledges will come in!     

We have now officially reached 84% of our budget!  That means we have pledges (monthly giving) filed from churches and friends/families that meet 84% of our required monthly budget!

So now we only need 23 new churches or individuals to partner with us on a monthly basis!!

-Please pray that the monthly pledges that we need will come in during the next 9 days! Our deadline is June 30th!  Pray for FAVOR.  Pray for God to move the hearts of the pastors, missions boards, and individuals to join our support team and get us to the field so that we can begin creating the media that is so desperately needed to reach and disciple the lost in more than 53 different countries!!

-Of course if we received 12 new pledges at $100 each we would be DONE! Either way - would you please pray that God will provide the monthly supporters? 

-We are STILL waiting for our FBI background checks to come in so that we can make our appointment at the Consulate of Spain to apply for our Visas. Pray that we have divine favor and everything moves according to God's timeline with no delays.  Pray that all of our documents are accepted!

-The matter of securing a house once we arrive in Spain is important.  Please pray that God works out every detail in our favor.

-PLEASE pray that God will prepare our hearts and minds for language school.  Pray that understanding and pronunciations will come quickly for us!  It's a little overwhelming when we think about it!
-PRAY for lives to be changed by the POWER of God's Word as we illustrate it through films.  We are praying for God to use International Media Ministries to bring in a GREAT Harvest during these last days.
