Today is my birthday. And there is only one thing on my mind that I want for my birthday... We MUST get our budget raised so that we can get to our mission field!!!! The people of the world that we will reach are still waiting.... to hear and understand the TRUTH's from God's Word.
Would you pray with me today for my birthday wish? I am praying that 25 new individuals/families/churches will sign up TODAY on the 25th (my birthday) to support us for $25 monthly!!! We MUST have sustaining monthly pledges that match our budget in order to leave for the field!!!
Our new numbers are in this morning and this is what we lack to leave for Spain:
15 new monthly pledges at $100 monthly,
15 new monthly pledges at $50 monthly,
***25 new monthly pledges at $25 monthly,****
and 10 new monthly pledges at $15 monthly.
Once our monthly sustaining budget is raised - which means pledge forms have been filled out filed (either online or by fax or mail) - we get the green light to GO!!!!!

Prayer Needs Update
We have a new target date to be ready to leave for the field. Originally the date was April 1st. That has now been pushed back to June 1st. We must reach 100% of our budget before we will be allowed to embark! We have been blessed this month to again have several churches and individuals join our support team with a monthly pledge (these monthly pledges make up our budget) and we are now officially at around 65%. So we have about 80 days to raise the remainder of monthly pledges!
We mailed out a creative project this month, a little missions package, to several churches that we have yet to visit during our year of being on the road. We are hoping that from this - many pastors will become acquainted with us - and either have us come for a service or become a monthly pledge partner.
-So please pray that MARCH will be another MIRACLE month!!! Pray for FAVOR. Pray for God to move the hearts of the pastors and missions boards to join our support team and get us to the field so that we can begin creating the media that is so desperately needed to reach and disciple the lost in more than 53 different countries!!
-We are beginning the process of FBI background checks and collecting documents for the Spain Consulate this week. Please pray that this process goes quickly and smoothly. Pray that we have divine favor and everything moves according to God's timeline with no delays.
-Please begin to pray now that God will put pieces of the puzzle together for when we begin our assignment creating the media needed for outreach overseas. Pray that He will begin now to prepare the soil of people's hearts to RECEIVE the message about Jesus and that lives will be ETERNALLY changed.
-Please begin to pray now about the moving process. There are so many details about packing up everything that you own into a container and shipping it overseas - that it makes my head whirl! Please pray for everything to be smooth, and for us to once again have divine favor in every step of the process.
-Please begin praying now that once we get to Spain - God will quickly open the doors for us to find a place to live - and that it will be the perfect house for us at an affordable price.
-Please continue to pray that learning the language will be incredibly God anointed for us! Pray that God prepares our minds to grasp the language quickly!
-And last but certainly not least - PLEASE PRAY FOR THAT BUSINESS OWNER THAT MADE A LARGE DONATION TO OUR ACCOUNT LAST MONTH! He is needing a miracle in His business. Even though his business is struggling - he gave sacrificially to help us get to our field - and I am asking our prayer team to please PRAY for him. Call him and his business out in prayer to God... for blessing, favor, and that God will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so large that he will not be able to contain it!!!

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Deut 6:4-7
I am sure that most of us have read this verse many times. But I have been reflecting on it this week. Breaking it down... asking myself... what does this REALLY mean... and am I obeying God to the fullest in this task He has given me as a parent?
Am I Loving God with ALL of my heart, soul, and strength? AND am I TEACHING these things to my children?
The Lord has really been impressing on my heart that it is NOT enough for the kids to go to church...it is NOT enough for us to have family prayer each night.... BUT AM I TEACHING THEM TO LOVE GOD WITH ALL THEIR HEART, SOUL, AND STRENGTH? And HOW am I doing that?
I have been reading a book lately that is really challenging me. It is called "Shepherding a Child's Heart" by Ted Tripp. In it he challenges the methods and motivations we as parents use to get our children to behave. We focus so much on behavior.... and employ many different TACTICS to get the results we want. Tripp challenges us to deal with our children's HEARTS when they disobey and misbehave....why they are doing things...and to teach them to do right - not b/c they will get a reward...or not because we will punish them... but because they love God and choose to obey Him and do what is right.
Ouch. I like every other parent have gotten really good at bribing, having charts, giving rewards for good behavior.... but the truth reveals itself that when I am not in the room - I see a lack of fruit of the Spirit in their lives. They only obey when Mom is watching to be sure they walk the reward/punishment line correctly. Are the girls kind to each other b/c God wants them to be kind? Do they tell the truth b/c they want to please God... not b/c they are afraid of being in trouble?
The only way they will ever get to this point is if I TEACH them that the only thing important in life - is to LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, ALL YOUR SOUL, AND ALL YOUR STRENGTH. They are not going to just somehow pick it up at church or through just family prayer time. God, in these verses above, instructs us as parents to teach our children what it MEANS to Love HIM. To talk about it at HOME (not just church), when you walk along the road (for us it could be car time), when you lie down, when you get up....
I don't know about you - but I am being challenged in my Spirit - to find a WAY and a TIME to TEACH my children Spiritual truths. This requires that we be INTENTIONAL - doing it ON PURPOSE!

Music App for your Phone
Tuesday Technology Tip
I don't really have a "radio" in the house anymore.... and usually I will just listen to music I have loaded onto the "iPod" part of my iPhone... but here lately I have been wanting to listen to a good Christian radio station so that I can hear what songs are popular right now...
Therefore, I downloaded KLOVE Radio for my iPhone. Just go to the App Store button on your iPhone (if you have an iPhone that is!), tap "search" and type in KLOVE. It will bring up "KLOVE - positive and encouraging radio" as the only match. Download it for FREE!
Anytime I am at home with wi-fi or in a 3G area - I can listen LIVE! Love it!

Mia the Wild Stallion
Mondays with Macy and Mia
We were at Springdale 1st Assembly this past Sunday. We had a 10 minute window to share with the people about our missions calling. Macy and Mia both shared some things using the microphone, as usual. Now the thing that was DIFFERENT this Sunday - is that I had neglected to find someone before service to take the girls back to their class after they were done with their "part".... Big mistake! We had them go back to their seat while Mommy and Daddy finished speaking....so that they wouldn't be dancing all over the stage being a distraction....
Well, leave it to Mia to find a way to still be in the spotlight! I could tell that while I was speaking that there was movement going on down there! But I stayed FOCUSED on the task to share quickly so that Pastor Fant could have ample time for his sermon....
Then I looked down to see Mia throw one leg over the pew like she was riding a horse! Brad quickly went down and had her SIT quiet and still until I finished! Shari, the Pastor's wife was sitting about 6 rows behind the girls... and she told us after service that right before the "stallion riding" - that Mia had looked at the people behind her and said "Watch this!" - and then proceeded to SLIDE down the curved arm of the pew....
I mean... seriously? She has NEVER done anything like this! I can't remember if I fed her sugar that morning or what...maybe it was just being in such a large church with so many "fans" to entertain... but she was ultra ENERGETIC this Sunday! And that got her a big TALK about how to act during church! (Example: We don't climb on the pews and slide down the arms of the pew!) :)
Next Monday I have a really special post about Macy to share! So stay tuned!
